Pitch Competition
MaC Venture Capital and The Black Blockchain Summit are excited to present this year’s Annual Black Blockchain Pitch Competition hosted by Howard University.

The competition will feature 3 pre-selected entrepreneurs who will have the opportunity to pitch startup-ups in front of 300+ summit attendees.
Criteria for Application and Eligibility
- Topic: Using Innovation To Stop Gun Violence.
- This competition is open to individuals and teams with new, innovative ideas that have not yet been launched or established as startups. We’re looking for concepts still in the ideation or prototype phase.
- Submissions will be assessed by a panel of judges, selected by the BBS.
- Speakers are not eligible to participate
- Participants are required to attend and pitch at the summit in DC
Who can apply?
- We’re looking for concepts still in the ideation or prototype phase. (even outside of Blockchain).
Awards
- The winning pitch will be published in the Black Blockchain Summit Archive and be honoured at a special event during the Black Blockchain Summit in Washington, DC.
- All participants will receive up to three free tickets for friends and family to attend the summit.
- $1000 USD worth of design, development and consultation services from AfriBlocks Freelancers.
